  2. start the installation

Downloading the software: Assuming you are using Internet Explorer...

  1. right click the PC Armor Download Link
  2. from the pop up menu select "Save Target As..."
  3. from the "Save As" dialog box select your desktop location.
  4. confirm the file name is "pcarmor(2_2_688).exe
  5. click the "Save" button.
  6. wait for the download progress dialog to complete the download

If the download progress dialog completes and you have received no errors then you have successfully downloaded the PC Armor software.

Warning:If you already have PC Armor and/or RgGuard installed you need to remove them before continuing from this point. To remove the software click on Windows' Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs. Find PC Armor and RgGuard in the installed programs list and click on Remove for both of them.

Start the installation.

  1. Double click on the "pcarmor(2_2_688).exe" that was downloaded to your desktop.
  2. You should see the splash screen for the install software as seen below in figure 1. Click on "Begin Installation" button and follow the installation wizard's instructions.
